Swish Darlington

Swish North East are holding a glamourous Swishing event at Blackwell Grange, Darlington.

Bring along a maximum of 5 items that you no longer use or wear (including clothing, accessories, handbags etc) and enter them into the Swish. When we open the Swish you can take the same number of items as you brought, home with you! At our last Swish we had an arrany of gorgeous items that our lovely ladies swapped, including a Radley handbag, a Joseph suit, a fabulous pair of designer shoes and lots, lots more!

To make sure everybody gets maximum enjoyment and benefit from the Swish we have 3 simple rules:

1. Items you bring to Swish must be of high quality - no casual t-shirts, vests or damaged items. An ideal item is something you´ve worn a few times and don´t like anymore - even better is something you´ve bought and never worn!

2. Once your items are entered into the Swish they can only be retrieved again with your Swishing tokens once the Swish opens.

3. Remember - if you want to go home with something fabulous........bring something fabulous to swap! In the interests of all of our Swishers, please don´t be offended if your items don´t make it into the Swish!

Please note for this event we are supporting A WAY OUT. A Way Out is a registered charity which works with vulnerable young people, particularly women. A Way Out have a drop in centre in Stockton which is a safe place for at risk women to have a meal, pick up clean clothes and have a shower, as well as being able to access information on education, health and counselling. We would very much appreciate it if you could bring to the Swish any non-perishable food items or unused toiletries for donation to the centre. Find out more about the fantastic work A Way Out does.
